Valve testing - what you should be aware of

Life is sometimes full of happy surprises. On a recent visit to The Hague, Valve World happened to find ourselves on a business park right outside Ventil's premises. Our spontaneous request for a look-around was well received by Ventil's Adri Visker who during a factory tour provided some very interesting insights into the do's and don'ts of valve testing. One of the larger valve test units being made at Ventil during Valve World's spontaneous visit was this 600 ton monster. The clamping system alleviates the need to fit blind flanges, which saves a significant amount of time per test.
