Japan is home to some of the largest and most technically advanced companies in the world - among which are several consumers and suppliers of valves. With few raw materials or energy resources of its own, Japan depends on trade to pay for its energy needed to sustain its industry and life style. In particular, Japan's engineering companies have a strong international presence in a wide range of process industries, and there is close co-operation between the engineering and LNG industries. We had a look at the recent history of LNG consumption in Japan and also looked at the latest LNG projects in which Japan is involved.
