How 2003 delivers both safety and availability

In April 2013, Norgren's Phil Keating published a white paper on redundancy in pneumatic systems. He indicated that engineers wishing to have both safety and availability in their processes could benefit from so-called two-out-of-three (2003) valve systems. These had just become available via Norgren's RVM system, short for redundant valve manifold. High time for Valve World to contact Mr. Keating and ask how Norgren's expectations have panned out.
