Rupture Pin Technology possesses over 25 years' experience in manufacturing advanced custom and standard pressure relief valves. The innovated design for these valves was developed by founder Julian Taylor and provides many benefits that conventional pressure relief valves and rupture discs are unable to achieve. So, what sets us apart from the rest? Rupture Pin Technology manufactures the most accurate and reliable valves available by utilizing we call "The Power of the Pin". The pin in each Rupture Pin valve is the heart of our technology and acts as the sensor and actuator with accuracy and consistency. The valve is designed to hold a bubble-tight, closed position until pressure reaches an exact set point, at which time the pin will buckle within +/-5% of set pressure. This accuracy is accomplished by following Euler's Law of Compressed Columns exactly. Each pin is carefully crafted using a precise manufacturing process to ensure that each valve will perform its function accurately, consistently and within an extremely tight tolerance.
