From its earliest trading days in the 1960's, AUMA identified the water industry as a primary market for its electric actuators. The sector has played a key role in the company's success with water and sewage treatment plants becoming its first customers. The water supply from Lake Constance to the city of Stuttgart, Germany was one of the company's most significant initial orders and further projects followed including WTPs for the Hamburg and the Oldenburg-East Friesland Water Association. Today, the company has water sector installations worldwide and has broadened its support to process control applications in a range of application areas, including the power and oil & gas industries.
