CCIMS: an acronym that could save you money

As instrumentation engineers will probably confirm, little has changed in past decades in the way differential pressure transmitters are fitted. Now that picture is set to change, thanks to a remarkable piece of multi-disciplinary development work conducted by Parker Instrumentation. Their new paradigm solution for close-coupling instruments to piping is so easy to use that it could potentially save hundreds of millions of Euros a year in installation and maintenance costs. On the eve of the product launch, Valve World therefore headed off to the town of Barnstaple in England to see the intriguingly titled CCIMS for ourselves.
