Duane 'Sarge' Preston To Retire After Serving Over 30 Years In The Potato Industry

Duane Arthur Preston was born on June 7, 1941 to Arthur and Lula Preston. He was raised on an 800 acre small grain and livestock farm in Hillsboro, North Dakota. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1959 and attended North Dakota State University. He graduated from NDSU in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Agronomy. Duane also received a Master of Arts Degree in Natural Resource Management from NDSU in 1972.
