Members of a criminal network convicted of a global fake golf club scam after an unprecedented investigation by Havering Council have been ordered to pay a total of 643,000 at a proceeds of crime hearing. The group sold millions of pounds worth of counterfeit golf clubs and other fake golf merchandise through the eBay website between June 2003 and March 2008.
