IT IS apparent from the results of a reader questionnaire we sent out late last year to a sample of around 15 percent of our worldwide circulation that TTC is well on the way to becoming established as the world's leading underground construction publication - and the results also suggest that the move to combine coverage of the large and small excavation sectors was both, timely and what is wanted, and needed, by the market. However there are also some problems of perception of coverage, in particular from some in the small bore sector. First let us consider the overall results from the responses to our questionnaire. Key questions asked on the new structure of the magazine included the following: "How do you rate the wider editorial coverage contained in TTC1" which elicited responses of 13 percent excellent, 63 percent as very good and 22 percent as good - or a total satisfaction level of an impressive 98 percent; "How do you rate the content of TTCT'- again achieving an overall satisfaction level of 98 percent (12 percent excellent, 61 percent very good and 25 percent good). 89 percent rated the content of the magazine as covering their needs and 70 percent supported the statement "TTC is a magazine that delivers the world's most complete picture of underground construction technology".
