Between 28-30 September, 2004 Stoneleigh Park near Coventry, UK saw the first combine' No-Dig Live 2004 and Pipelines 2004 exhibition, with many exhibitors reporting brisk business, high quality attendees and some significant sales. There was also a varied and informative programme of demonstrations, seminars and competitions over the three day event which attracted visitors from some 24 countries. Key equipment on display was previewed in September's issue of TTC on pages 37-41. Attendees, some 80 delegates, of the experimental early morning Breakfast Forum on the first morning were treated to three excellent presentations on Reducing streetworks disruption and achieving coordinated objectives'by the high-profile keynote speakers: Sir John Parker (chairman of National Grid Transco), James Brayshaw (director of Ordnance Survey) and Ian Elliott (director of Severn Trent Water). Sir John Parker then officially opened the event and then spent time touring the show where he met with several exhibitors, discussing their products with particular reference to NGT's trenchless technology programme.
