Westport and AVL link to expand customer base for HPDI 2.0 fuel system

Canada/Austria - Westport Innovations Inc, the Vancouver-based natural gas fuel injection systems technology specialist and AVL List GmbH, headquartered in Gratz, Austria, an independent engineering company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains for global OEMs, have entered into an agreement to expand and realise the market for Westport's next-generation High Pressure Direct Injection 2.0 (HPDI second generation) gas fuel injection technology.
