Performance - Westport turnover improves but net losses rise

Canada - Consolidated revenues at alternative fuel injection systems specialist for CNG and LNG, Westport Innovations Inc of Vancouver, increased 21% to CND148.1m in 2010 (fiscal 2011 ending December 2010) compared with USD 121.7m in 2009. For the calendar year ending December 31, 2011, Westport expects to continue revenue growth of approximately 30% year over year. However, net losses rose to CND42.3m in 2010 compared with CND34.7m in 2009. Deliveries also fell in volume terms to 3,656 units last year compared with 3,921 units the year before.
