Performance: SAF-Holland's strong recovery of 2010 continues

Germany - Truck and trailer running gear and chassis components supplier, SAF-Holland GmbH of Bessenbach, Germany, has reported an increase in sales in the first half of 2011 of 45% to EUR417.9m from EUR287.5m in the same period in 2010. Earnings before interest and taxation (EBIT) more than doubled to June 30, 2011, to EUR30m from EUR14.6m. The company said that it had benefited from the global recovery in the commercial vehicles industry as well as from internal measures to expand its product range and to increase efficiency.
