Germany/Poland - A year after filing for bankruptcy, trailer and truck body builder, Sommer of Laucha, Germany, is operating under new ownership and the new name of Sommer GmbH. Alexander Tietje, former CEO of Kogel, together with two other ex-K6gel managers, Richard Baumler and Franz Tropsch, acquired the company as part of a management buy in, changing the name to Sommer GmbH (from Sommer Road Cargo Solutions GmbH & Co KG), following the official transfer of the business on October 1, 2010.
