Zenix Auto forms strategic partnership with JAC

Zhangzhou - China Zenix Auto International Ltd (Zenix Auto) of Zhangzhou, China, which purports to be the largest wheel manufacturer for commercial wheels in China has entered into a strategic partnership with Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co Ltd (JAC) of Hefei Anhui province, to penetrate the electric-powered commercial vehicle market. The Chinese government recently announced a goal of putting some five million electric-powered vehicles on the road by the end of 2020 to help alleviate urban smog and reduce its dependency on oil imports. (Chirja's crude imports increased by 7.5% to 6.59 million barrels per day in the first half of 2015 evidence that its large economy continues to expand). Government incentives to increase the use of electric-powered vehicles include free license plates, tax incentives for qualified vehicles and building a nationwide network of charging stations.
