Gurgaon/Gandhidham - Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors of India with its headquarters in Gurgaon, Haryana, has set up of its first Eicher brand company-owned, company-operated (COCO) dealership on the Gandhidham-Ahmedabad NH-8A highway in Gujarat. The move is seen by the company as a way of understanding the needs of the customer better. The new 3S (sales, service and spares) facility has been equipped with state of the art equipment, a full inventory of spare parts and spare part assemblies, as well as trained technicians and service staff. (The service team at the new dealership, says VECV, has undergone technical training at the Eicher competency development centre in Ahmedabad, which is part of industry-academia training and personnel development programme of VECV).
