Performance: Spartan Motors reports spectacular growth in Specialty Vehicle segment

USA - The Specialty Vehicle division of Spartan Motors, which includes its bus chassis, motorhome and other specialty vehicles (but excludes its Emergency Response and Delivery truck divisions), saw spectacular growth in the second quarter this year compared with the same period in 2012. Generating more than USD20m to company turnover of USD 120m, the segment contributed some 17% in total revenue, which is expected to increase strongly in the coming 18 months. The key performance figures for the Spartan Special Vehicles division are shown in the table below.
