An equation was derived to calculate the x-ray tube spectrum from a massive anode and scattered from a homogeneous flat target. The spectrum function of molybdenum anode radiation scattered from a boron carbide polarizer was calculated. Copyright (C) 2005 John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
