School bus market to grow rapidly as China's government focuses on making school bus travel safer

Beijing - Many serious accidents involving school buses in 2011 led to the central government in China to fast track a review of school bus standards throughout the country. Following this review, the technical standard for school buses has been revised, policies have been revised to ensure that the school bus population is made up of those vehicles which meet the criteria set by the government authorities for school buses and, that subsidies are to be made available soon to encourage adoption of these revised standards.
