Volvo Bus expands market opportunities with CNG city bus

Bangalore/Sweden - With the NCR (National Capital Region) and ten other cities all mandating CNG use in public transportation vehicles and now with this CNG-fuelled public passenger vehicle policy being actively extended to some 200 towns by 2015 - according to Pawan Goenka, CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd at the 4th EFV conference in Dehli last November - Volvo Bus India Pvt Ltd. of Bangalore is looking to sieze the opportunity to extend further its market share with the introduction of a CNG-powered version of the Volvo 8400 low floor city bus.
