Voith secures axle business with SOR for Prague

Italy/Germany/Czech Republic - Czech bus builder, SOR, has secured an order for 600 city buses from the city of Prague for delivery over the next four years with axles supplied by Voith Axle Systems Sri of Brescia, Italy; the axle division of Voith Turbo GmbH of Heindenheim, Germany. Voith is to supply the portal drive axle and non-driven axles (where necessary), which are built by Voith's manufacturing partner company, Graziano of Turin: Graziano produces Voith's off-set portal drive axle in Bari, Italy. SOR has its own independent front axle with independent suspension system.
