To be manufactured at MAN's most advanced state of the art European bus manufacturing facility in Ankara, Turkey, the commercial vehicle manufacturing giant used the factory last month as the setting to introduce a new intercity bus model, the MAN Lion's Intercity. MAN Truck & Bus AG of Munich stated its new high floor two-axle coach available in lengths of 12m and 13m was aimed at customers in the large European standard intercity bus segment such as intercity travel, shuttle transport and school bus transport. MAN said it had a maximum of 55 seats (59 for Lion's Intercity C) and a maximum of two wheelchair spaces and one wheelchair lift.
