UK - 'Revolutionary changes in the way goods carrying vehicles are used are necessary to achieve a meaningful reduction in carbon emissions from the UK's road-transport fleet to assist the nation's greenhouse gas reduction (GHG) target by 2050,' is the conclusion of a major study undertaken by the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight (CfSRF), a consortium of Cambridge and Edinburgh's Heriot-Watt universities, alongside transport and logistics organisations, large freight operators and vehicle engineers.
