Tweeting for pets: Helping Pets Fund makes friends tweet by tweet

The AAHA Helping Pets Fund (HPF) joined the Twitter world on Thursday, April 2, 2009. Initially, it was just a trial run to see if we could connect with pet-friendly people and get our name out there. We're proud to say that it seems to have been a rousing success so far! We had our first follower by the next morning and watched with pleasure throughout the day as the number went higher. By the end of our first week, we had almost 200 followers and were shocked that so many wanted to hear what we had to say.
