摘要

This paper analyzes the influence of adsorption and temperature on the tribological properties of Ni-P-Al_2O_3 composite coatings deposited on the elements of a friction pair. The composite coatings were superimposed on steel elements using the electroless plating technique. A scanning electron microscope was used to analyze the surface topography. The study of adsorption was conducted for antiwear additives - zinc dialkyldithiophosphates (ZDTPs) - with two aliphatic chain lengths, C4 and C12. The tests showed that adsorption had considerable influence on the tribological properties of the composite coatings. The tribological tests were conducted by means of a T-01M tester in the ball-on-disc configuration during technically dry friction and boundary lubricated friction with model lubricants (base oil and, alternatively, base oil with 1% ZDTP). The results demonstrate that the tribological properties of the materials tested depend on the adsorption and temperature in the friction system.
