摘要

Travel is increasingly implicated in the transmission of infectious disease and as travel continues to increase, with 924 million international tourist arrivals recorded in 2008 (decreasing as expected by 4% 880 million in 2009) there are several pertinent travel health issues which require consideration to protect the travelling public, those who work in the travel industry and the public health implications that may ensue with the importation of infectious diseases.
