Shelters Protect Against Hydrocarbon Fires

The 1709 model fire-resistant shelters are designed to protect critical safety equipment from exposure to high-temperature fires in hazardous areas. The shelters are entirely passive, maintenance-free and impervious to a range of corrosive chemicals, including salt, sulfur dioxide and sour or acid gas. Typical applications include protecting valves and actuators in the emergency shutdown and fire fighting systems of chemical plants and refineries.
