Peripheral stem cell collection and its potential applications other then hematology.

摘要

Kroschinsky et al. summarised the rational for the use of peglycated G-CSF for stem cell mobilization. Several clinical trials investigated chemotherapy plus single-dose pegfilgrastim in the mobilization of autologous PBSC in patients with lymphoma or myeloma. Also comparative study results indicated similar efficacy in terms of blood CD34+ cell counts, stem cell yields as well as engraftment after pegfilgastrim. In allogeneic stem cell donors, a single-dose of 12 mg pegfilgrastim has been shown to induce a sufficient increase of blood CD34+ cells with a similar kinetics as of conventional G-CSF.
