SCE Energizes New Line to Transport Green Energy

Linemen construct underground and overhead line to carry renewable energy to customers throughout California. Photovoltaic panels soak up the sun's energy during the daytime while the blades of the wind turbines spin at night, generating clean, green power for the state of California. To transport this renewable energy to Southern California Edison (SCE) customers, the utility recently energized both new and upgraded transmission lines and built substations between eastern Kern County and San Bernardino County.
