Port Broughton Snapper

Port Broughton is one of those quiet little South Australian country towns that very few interstaters would have ever heard of. Situated on the northwestern coast of the beautiful Yorke Peninsula, Port Broughton is within a comfortable two-hour drivefrom metropolitan Adelaide. The town grew as a thriving wheat port and while grain farming is still very prevalent around the town, Broughton has people standing up and taking notice for other reasons. This wonderful area now has a growing reputation asbeing one of the best big snapper fisheries in the country. Even surpassing legendary big red spots like Whyalla; that lies 70 kilometres to the northwest across the other side of Spencer Gulf.
