On our first Tinnie to the Tip1 adventure in April 2007 we took our two sub-five metre boats from Cooktown all the way around Cape York and back down to Weipa. It was a great adventure and when I did finally return home, 1 was sure the memories of being tired, sun-burnt, dehydrated and shrivelled like a prune from the constant barrage of salt water would deter me from ever going that far in a small boat ever again. Not so! Because the thrill of hooking onto a big pelagic and eating the freshest coraltrout for dinner never fades, NEVER! So in 2009 we embarked on another Cape York by tinnie adventure, only this time slightly more prepared.
