The opening month of the snapper season in December 2010 had been a complete nightmare. Trying to juggle work commitments, family commitments and getting out for a first crack at snapper for the season was proving to be frustratingly elusive. After four cancellations due to bad weather i was beginning to think the hoped-for snapper trip would never eventuate! But it ali turned around when Stuie from Stuie's Charter and Fishing at Port Broughton gave me a call just before Christmas. "Steve there are some really big fish out there at the moment," were his words. That was all I needed Lo hear and we immediately pencilled in a recreational trip on the 28th of December together with Stuie's good mate Neil.
