Lovin it at lake lyell

The Sea Bees Boating club hosted the 2012 ANSA Lake Lyell ANSA fishing convention on May 4th-6th. This freshwater competition is an annual event and 101 fishos participated. This year the event was blessed by excellent autumn weather and there were noless than 12 fishing clubs represented and 23 junior members. Fishing was slow with 14 rainbow trout to 450mm, nine brown trout to 585mm and nine bass to 450mm. As this was primarily a catch and release event, only four fish were retained. However, theanglers pushed on regardless and started to see results at the end of the day.
