Fishing, at the castle

There has been a lot written about the Newcastle/Hunter area over the years, but somehow many tourists heading north overlook the famous port city. Perhaps they still think of it as an unattractive steel town, but in truth Newcastle offers exceptional fishing opportunities and is quite a nice, clean city these days to visit. If anything the river is better than ever as the city moved away from heavy industry and became a clean-tech, tourist-friendly place.
