Zeon to expand SIS capacity at Mizushima plant

Zeon Corporation has announced that it will expand annual SIS (styrene isoprene styrene) production capacity at the Mizushima plant from 42,000 t to 60,000 t. The company said that the decision is in response to recent growth in the adhesives market as well as Zeon's prospects for developing new applications by leveraging its pro- prietary molecular design. Zeon plans to complete the expansion in production capacity by May 2016.
