A procedure and program are suggested for calculating rectifying columns of the electrohydrodynamic (EHD) type. On the example of the process of rectification of ethyl alcohol, it is shown that the program that was developed makes it possible to automate the designing of industrial EHD rectifying columns and optimize their design solutions. It is shown that there are optimum values of the diameters of the inner and outer electrodes in the mass-exchange part, and also an optimum value of the reflux ratio.
