An historical perspective-SCAA-where from and where to?

Past President, John Samios, FTSC, provides an historical perspective relating to the formation of an "Association of Technologists" charged to advise Government and industry in dealing with strategically important raw materials in the years following World War 1 in England. He follows that early history through to the development of SCAA as we know it today, and challenges the technologists of the future to not only retain due regard to the past, but to become "movers and shakers" in their own professional lives and to continue to question the status-quo in order to develop both technology and the association to ensure continuous improvement of both the individual and the association.
