A monitoring system for reflectance measurement during the wet-to-dry conversion of a coating formulation

Existing devices for the study of colour properties are mostly restricted to the measurement of the dry state of materials and coatings.In this work,a novel monitoring system,developed for the study of colour alterations of coatings during their conversion from the wet to dry state,simultaneously with their weight loss,with time,in a temperature-controlled environment is described.Some results that have been obtained using the system are provided.
