AkzoNobel to expand production in China

In May, AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals celebrated a decade of achievements of its monochloroacetic acid (MCA) plant in Taixing, PR China. This was combined with the groundbreaking ceremony for an ambitious expansion plan for the site, which will increase MCA Taixing's annual production capacity to 100,000 MT. "This investment reflects our determination to capitalize on the enormous opportunities of China's high growth market", said Knut Schwalenberg, Managing Director of Industrial Chemicals.
