Waste paint pilot collection scheme

Governments around Australia have noted that waste architectural and decorative paints, from both the retail and trade sectors, are the largest contributors to liquid waste going into landfills. The Australian Paint Manufacturers' Federation (APMF), working with State and Federal Governments as well as the Master Painters' Association of Australia, is now investigating options for a national waste paint product stewardship scheme to address this important environmental issue.
