Under the "Taiwan First" investment policy, the Taiwanese government will adopt six incentive measures to attract foreign and overseas Chinese investment in Taiwan to help rev up the country's economy. The government will provide foreign and overseas Chinese investors with rejuvenated investment incentives to help lower their overhead costs from the beginning of their investment ventures, President Chen said during a speech at DuPont USA's plant in Kuanyin, Taoyuan.
