NOTHING IS MORE CERTAIN THAN CHANGE!

It is often said that only two things are certain - death and taxes -although they are not usually encountered in that sequence. Modern management theory and even a handful of wise people now include a third inevitable factor-Change. Providing we do not become slaves to change to the extent that we embark on programs of "change for the sake of change", there is no doubt that moving away from the status quo to an altered state is almost always beneficial. Sometimes changes are forced on us-a valued employee or respected colleague moves to a new job or department, or a neighbour moves house. These changes become opportunities to improve our lives and those of the other party, and as such should be welcomed and embraced.
