SUSTAINABILITY IS EVERYONE'S BUSINESS

I very much enjoyed my first SCAA Conference in Adelaide and I thought its theme, "the Eco Footprint", was highly relevant to future directions of the surface coatings' industry. I would especially like to thank the SCAA National President, Mr. Paul Hughes, and Council for making me feel so welcome. The growth of new "green industries " and "green jobs " was flagged in the opening address by the Hon. Jay Weatherill MP South Australian Minister for Environment and Heritage. The Minister reminded us that the environment was now the number one issue.
