London Section:The Effect of Adhesion Promoters and Baking Temperatures of Coated Thermoplastic Polyolefin Substrates

Approximately 20 members and visitors attended a well presented and interesting talk given by Paul Swan on Thursday 16th September 2004,which covered recent work carried out by Eastman Chemicals(UK)to investigate some of the parameters affecting the performance of adhesion promoters.The work was based around improving the adhesion of solvent-based coatings to polypropylene which is commonly used in the automotive industry.
