The conference programme commenced on the morning of Thursday September 9,with a plant tour of the Kerr McGee Titanium Dioxide processing facility at Kwinana,attended by delegates.This element will be reported separately.The more formal proceedings commenced at 2.00 pm in the afternoon in the Conference lecture room at the Esplanade Hotel.W.A Chairman,Colin Shilkin welcomed delegates to the opening Technical Session and noted the generous contribution of the many sponsors.
