Adhesion in the coatings industry part 5.4: Adhesion promoters

Whilst the terms Titanates and Zirconates can refer to the inorganic and organic compounds of Titanium and Zirconium respectively, (interestingly, both are Group 4 elements in the periodic table), the products of interest in adhesion promoter technology are the organotitanates and the organozirconates. Prominent in this area are products from Kenrich Petrochemical of Bayonne NJ who offer a comprehensive patented range of titanates under the trade name Ken-React and the Tyzor range from Dorf Ketal of India (who purchased the business from DuPont of USA in 2010).
