China's output of construction paint surges

China's current annual output of construction paints ahs exceeded 1.30 million tons,ranking third in the world after the United States and Japan.Based on the present growth of the building trade,the annual output of construction coatings in China is expected to reach 1.80 million tons by 2005,increasing 38 per cent over that of 1999,and application on outer walls will reach 35 per cent.
