NSW Section stalwart and Honorary Life Member, John Ware, passed away on 12th December 2012, after failing to recover from a fall and a broken hip. He was 85. John Wallace Ware was born on the 19th of June 1927 in Surrey England, 10 minutes after his older twin brother Peter. John and Peter were schooled at Seven Oaks Grammar School in Kent, an institution which was founded in 1432, before joining the RAF on November 23rd 1945 where they both worked as clerks after the war. In those days, brothers were allowed to serve together and both John and Peter went, first to the Middle East, and then in March 1946 to Cairo, Egypt.
