NEW FLAME RETARDANT FOR WOOD

Disflamoll TP LXS 51064, developed by the specialty chemicals group LANXESS AG, is a state-of-the-art flame retardant for use in wood and wood related products. The flame-retardant properties of organic phosphorus compounds turn a large number of natural products, like wood, into low flammability materials. Areas of application for this innovative product include construction timber, chipboard and other materials for house building and furniture construction. A special feature of the water-soluble Disflamoll TP LXS 51064 is that it has no detrimental impact on the appearance of substrates treated using different application processes including, pressure impregnation, immersion baths, spray coating or brush coating. This non-volatile premium product does not require any particular labeling under EU law and does not contain halogens, heavy metals or boron.
