Wattyl ready to ditch loss-making U.S.Arm

Watty Ltd has looked into selling its loss-making US division,the chairman of the Australian paint company said yesterday.Speaking at the paint manufacturer's annual general meeting,chairman John Ingram said US sales were down over the first quarter of 2003-04 because of the continuing strength of the Australian dollar,which this week rose above US70c.
